Well, it's mainly for the iPhone, but if you're using a HTML5 browser, it should work too.
I just finished the first two pages of my Elgg client (showing off before my battery dies!). I *MIGHT* submit it to the App Store. Basically, you'll be able to do what you do on the regular site on your mobile too. You'll just type in the URL and log in. No plugin will be needed on the other end, but I'll have it so it looks for a specific CSS file or it takes a few elements from the current theme.

And I'm currently tweaking the profile and friends pages as we speak.
your a genious ! looks great ! do you have an ETA?
Mmm, I'm thinking mid/late September. I'm waiting on another computer because my MacBook Pro's keyboard broke and I'm not about to code the entire thing on JUST the iPhone, LOL. But I'm buying a netbook and getting a Power Mac, so which ever comes first. If I finish the layouts before that happens, I'll do the Elgg intergration on my aging iBook.
Marvelous...
aging iBook? Ibooks are the best xD
Definitely they are great! Actually am in the process of setting it to tripleboot OS 9, Tiger, and Linux.
Just got done with the login base. I'm thinking about a signup page, but I think it might be too much, like abuse wise.
@Jessica Lares Are you taking the advanages of Media Queries?
Cute work, by the way! ☺ How does the tools dropdown work? Does it have the Jquery Slider? Does it work with iPhone?
The tools dropdown works like how it's supposed to on the iPhone, meaning it shows the options at the bottom of the screen. I'm working with a framework, so am not really sure what it has, and I haven't pulled the Elgg parts yet as I'm setting the interface up on the iPhone itself. I'll look into it though.
And I don't know if you mean the tools page or settings... The tools page is just buttons, although I'm thinking of making it like a homescreen with buttons. Would be cool for when I add support for additional plugins.
Which by the way, I'm already thinking of adding tidypics, event calendar, widgets, chat, and geolocation as a standard. I'll add a theming feature too.
interesting...
Jessica,.. it looks Pretty cool :)
May I know with which framework u r building this ?
