Date of birth on profile

Does anyone know how to add birthday fields to profile. What's the best solution?
Thought I had it all worked out with profile_manager and simple_datepicker. Doesn't work when event_calendar is on too.
Any suggestions?
Edit: Kind of working with the 1970 fix, but would like a solution with selection fields to avoid datepicker mess like, breaks layout when selecting date, can't clear inputfield.

You must log in to post replies.Now I have a gender_birthday mod working. Shows birthday on profile and in edit profile you have three selection fields, day month year, that's perfect.
But, if one select 1 January 1970 as birthday, nothing shows up on profile?
It's a javascript that genereate the select fields. Anybody know why 1 January 1970 does not show up?

Weird, the span is 100 years from 10 years ago. Just can't display 1 1 70?
