You must log in to post replies.Probably related to the server migration they were doing about that time.
thnx - I'm guessing you're right
I reported this so hopefully they might catch it faster.
Thanks for the report. I'll have a look as soon as I can.
still unable to sign in with myid.net - getting message
OpenID authentication failed: http://MYUSERNAME.myid.net is not a valid OpenID URL.
I've tracked the problem down to the (quite dated) OpenID lib used in the plugin doesn't work correctly on PHP 5.3-FPM. This is a pain because dropping in a working OpenID lib will require rewriting good chunks of the plugin. Over the weekend I'll have some extra time to look at this. Sorry for the problems...
This problem seems to be going much deeper. @Susant - Can you confirm you were able to log into the community site with open id recently before the migration? (ie, before Aug 8?)
Alright...I have it confirmed working for a new account with myid.net. I couldn't get it to work with either wordpress.com or AIM, but none of the OpenID test sites could connect to those services either.
@Susant Could you confirm it's working for you? Anyone else using another provider, can you confirm if it works for you?
@Brett - confirming it works - thanks :-)
