I have tried disabling newly installed plugins to see if any are causing a conflict, but no joy.
I can access Tool Admin, enable and disable plugins, but cannot access the seettings for riverdashboard, tidypics, eventcalendar, siteaccess.
Not sure if it's related, but can only access events by clicking on the link in the river, but not when clicking on the event in the calendar view...
Where do I start looking to fix this?
Edit to add: The link to add a site wide message to the river can also not be accessed.

You must log in to post replies.I'm trying to use this site to learn more about php and elgg... no better way to learn than by doing, not so?
To learn about Elgg yes. To learn about coding, there are better places. And honestly if you have this much trouble, you need to be learning to program before tackling a project this far out of your depth.
I'm inclined to agree. Unfortunately I was asked to help set up a site to replace a NIng site and it had to be done before 20 Aug.
Now I'm here and I'm stuck. Just some pointers on where to start looking would be appreciated.
Thanks
Odds are one of your plugins is screwing things up. Disable them all and then figure out which one is the problem.
*#$*%^@$!!!!!
Sorry for wasting your time. Firefox disabled Java. Everything works fine in Java enabled browser...
