Transfer Users from one elgg installation & db to a new one

Can anyone instruct me on how to transfer users from one elgg installation & db to a new one?
I really do not care for the user's data/pictures or content they had already submitted to on the previous elgg installation & db....
Any help greatly appreaciated , thanks

You must log in to post replies.Santa, you can go through the wikis, and learn how to duplicate/backup an elgg site. (http://docs.elgg.org/wiki/Backup_site, http://docs.elgg.org/wiki/DuplicateInstallation) If you need only to duplictae the userdetails, you need export them and import in a new table. I have done this several times before. If you need proffessional support in doing it, pm me.
