I am using elgg 1.7 and whenever I attempt to upload an mp3 through the files plugin I get this error. Images upload ok as well as documents, I tried upgrading to 1.7.1 and this did not resolve the issue. Other plugins designed to upload audio specifically have the same error, any ideas?

What kind of server are you running on ?
Ubuntu 8.04
LOLZ ;-)
Shared $5 - 10 ?
VPS $20 - 50 ?
DEDICATED $100's ?
??
VPS Dhrup, you busting my chops :) ?
Yep ;-)
but the kinda Hosting matters when it comes to php.ini & .htacess
many Hosts do not allow funky techie fine-tuning of sys parms -
dey the ones busting yr chops ;-(
old golden rule -->
want support ? state --> version, platform, apache, mysql, etc versions.. problem might be simple but lack of info means caint say for sure... I've never myself had such problems.. but i usually own the server and probe deeply. while you really are posting only tidbits of tech info.. e.g. post yr php info listing.
Cool, thanks Dhrup its been a while! Sites finally up at liveintake.net still working through some kinks, this is actually a big one considering its a music networking site and they can't post music :) Here are specs any help is appreciated:
Apache 2.2.8
Ubuntu 8.04.2
MySQL 5.0.51
VPS Server at VPS.net
Most up to date PHP5
Hope this provides additional info. Most of the time I get the form token error, sometimes it uploads the file but at 0 bytes but rarely. I checked my PHP error log and I don't see any errors being produced. Any insight?
Regards,
James
I'll probably end up seeking to pay someone to look into this fix, this is a huge issue for me. If anyone is interested please let me know, my music site is pretty crippled without the ability to upload music :(
Jimmy - You said you changed the values in your php.ini file, but did you also change (or remove) them in the .htaccess file?
I have changed my .htaccess file increasing upload_max_filesize and post_max_size values from 2Mb and 8Mb to 16M and "form is missing __token or __ts fields" message has gone when uploading files larger than 2Mb.
Anyway, "form is missing.." does not seem to be very meaningful. Any Ideas how to change this?
@Ander - Do you mean you want to change the error message displayed? That's in languages/en.php.
