How to remove the message box

I've had a look around, but can't see a way to remove the message box Elgg throws up after every operation, eg., changing plugins. I can't find it easily in the core code, either.
Anyone know how to disable it, or perhaps more usefully, shorten the delay so it hides quicker?

Arrgh, noooo - Sports! But I now have Elgg bliss without that flipping message box appearing. :)
