on my local, when there is no profile image uploaded the getIcon function returns: ".../mod/profile/graphics/defaultmedium.gif" ... but i just uploaded the same code onto my site, and for soem reason the same functions returns ".../_graphics/icons/default/medium.png" when no image uploaded.... I am running elgg 1.7 on my local and 1.7.1 on my test site, thats the only difference i can think of....
