You must log in to post replies.not much information to go on. Did you update your htaccess file during the upgrade?
No. Actually I narrowed it down to a problem with groups. It appears that groups displays all Created groups but can not find them on the server. Can I rerout ???
Nothing in changed in the URLs for groups between Elgg 1.5 and Elgg 1.7
Still sounds like a htaccess issue. I'd backup your current .htaccess, delete the current copy and let Elgg recreate it for you.
Thank you. I have no idea how to do that though.
I think that i may have deleted the group file? Is that a possibility? Since my browser does not find the location on the site named website.com/pg/groups/xx/groupname
OK.I recreated htaccess and get a white page when clicking a group name...
@Transunity, Check your .htaccess page, may be its empty. If its empty, rename htaccess_dist to .htaccess and see
Thank you guys for all your help. I have decided to uninstall my elgg site and rebuild from scratch.
Sadly I will loose some users, but there doesnt seem to be anything else to do.
