you would need a server, either run it locally using xampp for windows or lampp for linux. or you can pay a monthly subscription from a web host to run your elgg site. but before you do all that, see a preview of elgg @ demo.elgg.org

Hi, Brian has done a lot of work to migrate the plugin to elgg 1.7.

Now i need to deal with some cache pbs and make some final test. I guess i will upgrade the sandbox to 1.7 next week and release a 1.7 version quite soon

Any update on this, we're really excited about seeing this as part of 1.7
