Hi,
I am having problem with elgg;
previously i was using a paid social networking script, but now i have moved to elgg.
The problem is that in past my diskspace was used to max 3gb in one year.
but on elgg my diskspace is used more than 6gb in only 2 months.
I think there is some cron or corn jobs issue.
please help me in this regard
really worried about extra diskspace expenses.

Check what your debug settings are in Site Administration. If it's set to log errors, change it the recommended "Turn off debug mode."
elggusers_apisessions
elgghmac_cache
elgggeocode_cache
-- no probs, these are memory tables, no need for repair.
goto yr phpmyadmin right hand side, copy and paste the tablenames & numbers from there.
@saifee:
You really have to check first where all the disc space is used. The only information you gave us so far is the total disc space used. But you should really be able to find out more easily.
Is it the Elgg data directory that is so big? Then it might be due to some user who might have uploaded something without your knowledge. You said that's not the case, but better check first.
If not the data directory, is it the Elgg directory itself? The only reason I can imagine then is that there is some error log file that gets larger and larger. Check the directory tree and you should be able to find out easily where the large file is hidden. Or is the disc space used by server logs? It depends on your installation where these server logs are saved (/var/log, /var/log/apache ...).
Check any error log file/server log file that is extremely large for possible reasons why so much is logged. Also turn off debug mode, as Brett suggested, if it's currently on.
@Brett
Thanks
DONE... It helped ... now 6.6GB have reduced to 4.5GB (althought its is also too much)
