In the past I had also looked at using the Groups PlugIn to form some kind of a "quiz" thingy to guide users thru a set quiz batch and be able to post "answers" (comments) there. Later on when we have our 3D World setup with "hunts" and quizzes, etc.. you might want to have a look there too.

Antijoe, we are working on e-learning platform based on Elgg for some time. We can develop the webquest plugin for you. We have a similar idea described here.

You can create your idea of webquest plugin on Elggdev (here's the form) and we will help you find people who would like to co-fund the project.
