I active the plug-in , the index have a little bit change, but i cannot find any settings in admin page.

can anyone fix this please
There are no settings that help you to change the page layout.
You can however try editing:
/mod/custom_index/views/default/canvas/layouts/new_index.php
Sliverlight, you can also look at the alternative to custom_index, the mainpage plugin.
