my host updated their server - changed disks i guess -- now the icons for the group will not display - i upload a new icon for a group - i get no error message -- but image will not display
how can i fix this?
i tried unselecting imagecache then running upgrade.php - still no show -- i activate imagecache, but no luck
is there a cache folder I should empty? if so, whats the path to it?

I tried with another PC (IE7), still missing the same group icons. Really odd. My Macbooks as well ...
This image will not display in Google Chrome or IE9, my observation.

Just could not make it appear again. I had to reinstall whole Elgg. Hope same problem does not appear again.
I have that same problem and I almost traced it down: the groups plugin registers for the entity:icon:url hook to handle group icon requests. That handler then returns a URL such as "groupicon/81/medium/1234.jpg" which is supposed to be caught by a corresponding page handler (also registered by the groups plugin). The URL is returned fine, but for some reason the page handler never gets called.
I don't get it. Profile pictures are obtained with the exact same setup and that's working fine with my installation. I don't know a lot about page handlers.. What could be the reason that the page handler is ignored? Any help appreciated!
