Plugin suggestions?

Anyone ever considered making a plugin that will change the theme on certain occasions? The idea being that on certain dates or times (ie xmas etc) the xmas version of a theme would become the default.
Yerah I know it can be done manually but what if, for some reason, access to your server isn't available?

You must log in to post replies.May I please add a note to your idea? I think it would be also interesting to have plugin that sends {birthday} wishes to the user on her/his birthday? or may be.. pull a list of user icons on the loggin page on their bday?

I've hope to have this feature in a future version of Themer - that is, to change the theme based on dates/ranges for example: Red for Valentines, Green for St. Patricks, Red-White and Blue for July 4th, etc. Most of what's needed is aready coded - maybe in the next version.
Okay Alex, you got our attention, now we are going to pester you incessantly until you produce it ;-)
And dont forget to make it compatible for 1.5 minimum.
