Invited friends are not my friends

Hi,
I am as confused as the title...
When I invite someone to my site and they accept, they are not appearing as my friend! Since I have the friend request plugin, I have to send them a request. I there anyway I can fix this issue? What about the friend request plugin... could that be the problem?
Any help is greatly appreiated!

You must log in to post replies.It is likely the friend request plugin. Try to disable it and see if it works.
Hi,
I disabled the plugin and it works. Now, how do I make it work with the plugin enabled? I need the friend request plugin, but also need the complete functionality of the invite friends plugin. Is there a workaround? Does anyone have the same problem?
