Hello,
I'm re-installing my site on a LAMP setup, and tidypics isn't quite working for me. When I upload any pictures the generic thumbnail appears, but it's not uploading the pic.
Could this be to do with not having the right settings/software activated on the box? I have just installed Imagemagick hoping that would help, but it hasn't so far. Do I need anything else activated on the box or in PHP?
Thanks!
Sean

You must log in to post replies.Currently, only GD is required for TidyPics (as it is for Elgg).
Thanks - I'll check my GD install.
*facepalm* I was sure I'd done that. Thanks - it was indeed a missed GD Install on my test server.
I have GD on my server...yet when I upload some images, it goes into a blank page...I go back to the home page and when I see the uploaded image, a camera is in place of where teh uploaded image should be...whats wrong :S
Oh and I forgot to mention, I managed to upload 2 successfuly. But when it comes to the third one, the blank page thing comes up...
As discussed in the comments on the plugin download, there are php settings that determine the size of an image that you can upload and/or resize. Right now, Tidypics is not robust enough to work around an upload failure/resize failure.
I see. So basically if I make the upload size bigger, then the error wont occur?
And thanks :D
