I have created a custom search form, all the field options I selected appear on the form, but when an option is selected and searched for it returns no results even though there is an entry with that particular option. Has anyone had this working properly? Can anyone give me a hint or two as to how to get it functioning please?

Hi Kevin, many thanks for the signpost. Is this fixable? I'd be happy to pay for a fix if it can be done as this is quite a key feature.
Possibly. I've sent you a message about this.
Mark, you can look at vazco_search plugin, it allows to searchby multiple parameters, but works only with Elgg 1.6, it wasn't tested on 1.7 and probably won't work with 1.7.
Hi Mike, thanks for this tip... I'll give it a go.
I do quite like the easily configurable search form in the forms plugin though. Cheers, Mark.
