Hi there, I'm new here to elgg. I wanted to make a social networking page and this seems like the best software for it.

So I do have a few questions about the whole thing:

1) Is there any mod for making news (such as on portals)

2) Are there any mods for pages which would be categorised as system pages, I mean where you can write "About Us", "Contact", etc. (like the plugin pages in the Community section) + with the option of to enable or disable comments.

3) I'm looking also for a image and video gallery. I pretty much fancy the site http://theatrestory.com/ so I would like to have something similar to their Photos and Videos sections.

4) How to know which mod supports the latest version of the elgg platform?
