Hi,
Just to let you know that I have found numerous "permission" problems on the wiki.
If you look at the Administration Manual -http://docs.elgg.org/wiki/Administration_Manual
Links lower down - such as making your site search engine friendly
http://docs.elgg.org/w/index.php?title=Making_your_site_search_engine_friendly&action=edit
The &action=edit has to be removed. Loads more like this.
Thanks, Dave

You must log in to post replies. These are not permission errors--they're pages that don't exist yet in the wiki. Mediawiki automatically prompts you to edit if you click on a link that goes to a page that doesn't exist. To avoid spam, the wiki site requires you to log in to edit, else you would see the edit page.
OK. My mistake. For new comers it should be explained better on the subsequent page ypu click.
Thanx
Dave
