It seems that you can add anyone as friends without the other party confirmation in Elgg. How do we enable facebook-like confirmation windows once invited?

Also - how do we make "add friend" more visible for active members? It is time consuming to go to "Members" then manually browse through people to find your friend, click profile, then add friend.....
