Modified Custom Index Dependancy

This dependancy restricts use of the Polls - because many people will be implementing other plugins for sites, e.g. we have different custom index coded, but Polls would be nice.
perhaps Polls neeeds to be a "plugable" PlugIn for *any theme, etc - even though this might need some little code work to be done to make it work.

* Administrator setting: moderation on/off
* Categories
* Group polls
* administrator can add polls to homepage (via modified custom index)
Integration with Modified Custom Index.
This Plugin DEPENDS on modified custom index
This modified version of Simple Poll plugin works in conjunction with Modified Custom Index to display in homepage polls approved by admins. If both Modified Simple Poll and Modified Custom Index are installed a link appears in the administration area from where administrators can approve polls to be published in home page.
Is this a [FEATURE] or a [BUG] ?
Right, I know about those but I'm just saying that the Modified Custom Index isn't a REAL dependency becasue you can install the Polls plugin just fine without it.
It's just, if you install the Modified Custom Index then you get added functionality for the Polls plugin, that's all.
That's right, it is not a real dependancy. Some polls can be marked for the homepage if custom index is installed and enabled. I need this feature in my site. If some of you encounter problems with it we can correct the bug leaving the feature.
