I had to upgrade to V6 with Spam Login Filter and Spam Throttle to get rid of them.

It is not the same, because a site like mine can't afford to upgrade to an Elgg ver. that doesn't have support for Elgg 1.5-1.12 & 2.X - 5.X: Tidypics, Elgg 1.8-1.12 & 2.X - 5.X: iZAP Videos - revised edition by iionly and some other plugins important to keep the  site's users busy. I appreciate your comment, thanks.

@Book Of Likes, please use the 5.x release mentioned in the above links with your Elgg 5; it should work. Let me know if you have any issues, I will look into it.

Also, if you are looking for Tidypics for Elgg 6, you can use this https://github.com/rohit1290/tidypics. I have made the changes and using this on my site until there is an official release by iionly.

The site is still getting spammed by spammers from all over the world.
The 3 plugins you recommended are installed on Elgg Ver 5.1.11 now.

I was wondering if for example: Plugin "Spam Login Filter" needs some adjustments on the settings.
Like, I already have the Stopforumspam API key installed.
The Country Blacklist RU, CN, NK, IR,   etc.

WHAT  IP? Ip addresses Blacklist   --> Protect the following pages from access by IPs currently on IP blacklist (cached locally on the server):
Do you know a good list?  So I can place on this blank spot?

Spam Login Filter Settings:

• Use Stopforumspam.com? - Yes
• Stopforumspam API key - Enter the key obtained
  
• Country Blacklist - List the Country code you want to block (You can use this list for the code)
• Use mail domain blacklist? - Yes (If you are seeing that user from a specific domain are spamming like 10 min email type of domains)
• Blacklisted mail domains - Enter the domain names here (Note: list one per line)
• IP addresses Blacklist - List the page you want to block. (Example: register. In this case the spammer would be able to browse the site but won't be able to register)

You can also try this - https://github.com/rohit1290/registration_randomizer. This will generate a unique link for registration valid for few min and then expires. If someone is using bot to register on your site then it will stop it.

I blocked all of Ip and E-mails for now.
