When someone becomes a member of a closed group, the person is still listed on the activity page as having done so. Is it possible to hide this activity for people who are not members of the closed group?
There can be good reasons for such a thing not becoming public knowledge.

You must log in to post replies.I found that it is possible to remove individual activity items, but it would be better to have a group setting to not display activity for non-members: "Show activities only to members of the group"
Great idea!
You can override join:group event in your custom plugin adding to this class:
thank you very much!
I still think this behavior is a bug.
I don't think so. But it could be an option in the plugin settings.
At least for our product we made it as a feature:
- disabled by default,
- enabled globally on the site,
- group admins choose in the closed group settings (default, enabled)
