This is not about compatibility with Elgg, but about compatibility with other plugins.

To use Elgg Landing plugin you must disable Front Page Demo plugin.

I warned about this; just look at the plugin page in the description.

for in the settings I can't remove the site activity, which I want people to see only after they login....
