Color change in the banner

Hi all,
It's a little bit confused, that there is nor theme for the Version4 available, The most plugins are 10to old.
So I will change the blue color banner to a other color and a logo...
All Informations I find are from older versions.
Did anyone can help be to find the right css files to do this?

that's not what I want and I don't understand the docu. Css is nothing I know. I need to know how can I change the color in the banner without write a new theme, that never will run :-)
Any changes you wish to make to your installation will have to go through a plugin. Because if you modify the Elgg core files directly those changes will be lost the next time you update Elgg.
