I found the uiConf in the plugin but have not been able to figure out where the setting comes from... for its value

Not all uiConf works, specially if the plugins are not from your user in kaltura. There are some generic uiConf but I never known exactly what are it. To put your own uiConf values you should look into the code the last number of the parameter "data" in the <object> tag:

Hi Ivan, I don't know if this group is still active. I have a question about the kaltura elgg plugin, I am using the latest version of both elgg and the plugin. From what I've seen in the code, it seems like you can only work with mixes. Is there a way to list and play normal videos (the ones you upload from the KCW and the are of type VIDEO) without having to append them to a Mix?

Hi Juan, My company RiggingDojo.com has hired http://condiminds.com/ to help try and add this funcitionality but we have hit a roadblock with Kaltura API and are waiting on support to get back to us with an answer. 

All the changes/upgrades when done will be releaed back as open soruce if we can get it working as expected.
