Would anyone be interested in a reCAPTCHA plugin? I was able to get this working on my site. Something of interest?

ya man it would be good if you caould make reCAPTCHA in registration..
brilliant.. how we move on?
I will work on cleaning up my code and repackaging it as a plugin. Hopefully, have something by the weekend.
I am having troubles with the redirects. The original plugin was a modded version of the default captcha plugin that comes with Elgg. To avoid the feeling of a hack and slash plugin, I am going to need more time. Sorry guys. If you want the modded captcha version I can release that, but I would rather not.
okay take your time, try to make that reCaptcha color blue so that it would match with the default elgg theme
Was thinking of doing exactly the same thing - thanks for beating me to it!
I looked thru the current PlugIns listing but do not see the reCaptcha there ;-( maybe JimBob.. you should code this PlugIn and publish it because I believe that you would rather yes do ;-) ==> http://recaptcha.net/plugins/php/
Dhrup - I don't think that Trinity has finished coding this up, but am sure once it is finished it will be uploaded to the site.
weeellll if Trinity wud like *any elgg-oriented techie tips... just PM me.. that's why I'm here.. for free consulting.. no joke b/c i *not need the rnoney tee hee unless people *can afford my rates eh....
Sorry for the delay in this guys. I ran into some oddities and had other things on my plate. One site it works fine, a couple of other sites it fails to pass the token. I am left confused...
I encourage all that want to help or create their own plugin in the meantime.
