htmlawed does strip stuff out, which is a good thing on users end. after you put whatever code you want, go ahead and turn it back on. i think you should be good like that.  I beleive tinymce performs the same kind of functions so either way i think you will be fine.

i am working on a fix for this so that htmlawed wont affect the settings, just havent got there yet.

My member profile links look like this... http://www.mysite.com/pg/profile/membername actually it's on a subdomain so it looks like http://www.myELGGsite.mysite.com/pg/profile/membername  How would we make this to a simpler version like http://www.mysite.com/membername or http://www.myELGGsite.mysite.com/membername Thanks for your time. vasco site has it like that.  i also asked  him.

@kaitlyn91...  you would need to edit your .htaccess file in the root directory. instead of the code for htaccess that is on the plugin page, you would add to it your subdomain like so:

RewriteRule ^([A-Za-z0-9\_\-]+)$ http://%{HTTP_HOST}/subdirectory/pg/profile/$1 [R]   

and place it befor the closing </IfModule> at the bottom of the page,  replace subdirectory with the name of the folder that elgg is in.  If you need help just private message me.
