Disable the use of The Wire tool while viewing users profile?

Right now I am able to post a wire update while viewing someone else's profile. Can I disable this functionality? It feels wonky.

On people's profiles, I can access their Wire Widget. It still posts to my thread, but its weird being able to see/use their widgets on their pages.
Yes, John said it right. When I view someone's profile I have access to my own profile/feed through their widgets.
How? I can't reproduce it.
Basically, I just don't want to be able to use the widgets on someone else's profile (except the post message one). I will send you a dm with more info.
You should say that The Wire Tools plugin is activated.
Go to its settings and disable this option 'Extend TheWire widget..'. That's all.
Also, use Widget manager plugin to control all widgets on your site
Thank you! sorry I forgot I even had that plugin... I copied the mod folder of a prev. installation when I installed this one, so I had a bunch of plugins I didn't remember.
