Hide 'Upload File' link from within a group

Can the 'Upload a File' link be hidden / removed from within a group, but still appear in the menu when 'Files' are accessed from the 'Tools' menu?

which elgg vers u got ? u want to hide uploads / disallow uploads within groups areas even tho groups can have upload or hide topbar menu for files while in groups areas ?
if want no files upload within groups just @ create / edit group, uncheck group files checkbox. or is reqmt diff ?
