Hello, I've always hated installing Elgg. ALWAYS anyways my theme runs on 1.7 which makes softalicous out of the question but I can still use installatron 1 click. The only problem is nowhere does it give me a admin username and password to select and I can't find where to manually add one.
It's been ages since I've dealt with elgg let alone elgg 1.7...
going to mywebsite.con/elgg gives me a 404 error...
AS far as users/password combos where would I find it. I've tried mysql and such without much luck...
Anyways to manually add a admin thru cpanel or find the password username combo?

You must log in to post replies.Since Elgg 1.7 has been end-of-life for like 5 years I'd suggest installing Elgg 3.3 I believe this can be done through Softalicous.
And then try to upgrade your theme to match the new requirements (maybe best to start from scratch as sooo much has changed in between then and now)

^ that kinda defeats the purpose. Anyways installatron had an issue. I messaged them and they fixed it?
