tinymce issue after upgrade

After upgrading to 1.61 tnymce now reoves all formatting now matter what. wether its something created with in tinymce or code pasted in from dreamweaver or andother editor everything is stripped bare. Hyperlinks are removed, tables are dumped, no matter what.
I have removed tinymce extended and replaced with basic tinymce that come with install package and still no changes?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You must log in to post replies.I have the same problem plus adding empty extra (<p> </p>) lines everytime I edit the content. But it's curious that I've done a trial here (paste text and tables) using this Tinymce-Elgg editor and everything goes and looks ok... ???
I am having the same problem with a fresh install of elgg 1.6.1... I've been looking round for an answer as well...
Had same problem. Looked around elgg mesages and posts and found that htmlawed plugin seems to be causing this. Tuned off htmlawed, reloaded html files, and now they stick.
