Can you please let me know if there is any working plugin that helps display Videos and snapshots if the url placed in a Post / The wire?

I tried almost all plug in but none of them shows the videos or snapshot of the link being posted in wire.

I installed plugin  embed_extended_v2.0.2 but it shows videos only in the message box but not in the wire and the activity section. Only a URL is displayed in the activity and the wire which nowadays is a put off for users 

I think today sharing of videos has become very pop and a community website can rarely succeed if it does not offer this functionality.
