You must log in to post replies.Hi,
do you know, it would be good if the installation instruction instructions were clear and not so confusing!
I am trying to install the script and during installation its asking me for the absoloute data path ????
where can i place that ?
everything that i have tried has failed!! i keep getting this dumb message .. We don't think "http://www.kiXXXXx.com/Data/" is an absolute path for your data directory
these are the only folders i have on my server ...
backup
mail
logs
sys
tmp
www
any suggestions where the data folder should be ???
Hello amebb,
Absolute path means you need to provide the path in your server. And you need to create this folder manually. I see you have 5 folders there. Create a new folder named elgg-data. And then use the full path to it.
Absolute path doesn't start with http or https. It looks like this /home/some/name/elgg-data
Hope this helps. If you need further help, you can contact me here - https://vpsfix.com/contact/
