Hello, I am pretty new to this and your help will be greatly appreciated!
I am getting an error "Fatal error: Cannot use Elgg\Cli\Application as Application because the name is already in use in *******\htdocs\elgg\vendor\elgg\elgg\engine\classes\Elgg\Logger.php on line 5" while trying to access the install url locally.
Does anyone have any idea why is this happening and how can I fix it?

You must log in to post replies.Which version of Elgg are you trying to install? Which version of PHP is installed on your server?
Bump your PHP version to above 7.0.16
does this mean he is using Elgg 3? I am running 2.3.8 with php 5.6 without problems and want to upgrade to 7 or beyond and then Elgg 3 when it become production but want to wait til most plugins are updated as well
Greetings and thank you for your replies!
iionly -> I am using PHP 5.6 and Elgg 3.0.0 RC.1
Ismayil Khayredinov -> I will try the latest version of PHP and see if it works.
Herb -> Yes, I am using Elgg 3.0.0 RC.1
@dimitargk You can't use PHP 5.6 with Elgg 3 - see requirements
