I looked up the discussion forum but did not find anything about this issue.

We use Elgg 2.3.3:

If a user likes to register himself over wiki.anyfer.com with safari, the username character count seams to not working correctly as you can see below in the screenshot.

Does anyone had this issue too? Any idea how to solve this?
