The GCTools team is looking for support to further develop GCconnex, GCcollab and GCpedia - our open source platforms. GCconnex and GCcollab are based on Elgg. Towards that goal, we are hosting a hackathon event! The GCTools Hackathon will be on April 6-7, 2017, in Ottawa at the Innovation Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) Service Lab. We also encourage virtual participation.

During the GCTools Hackathon, the teams are free to work on any fix or functionalities they wish. A list of current issues: bugs, enhancements request and a wish list of new features can be found on the GitHub repository of each project. https://github.com/gctools-outilsgc
In addition, we identified the following challenges as areas we want to improve the GCTools: Accessibility; Usability and User experience; and Collaboration with open source communities.
You can register here if your interested: http://consultations.tbs-sct.gc.ca/s/gctools-reg-ins-outilsgc/?l=en

Yes and we want to move in that direction. Version 2, Composer, .. Thanks! But for now, participants will be able to earn point for contributing to Elgg!
