Facebook Connect Plugin problem

I have the Facebook connect plugin on my site. I thought it was working as I could see in members had used it to join. It has now ben brought to my attention that you receive an error when using it.
I tested it and received the following error :
Fatal Error: An unrecoverable error has occured and has been logged. Contact the site admin with the following information: Exception at time 1488554949.
This is the error that member get stuck on, strange thing is they still show up on the site as registered but they would not know that unless they tried the registration link again. The plugin works perfectly once members are registered. It is just the initial registration.
And lastly, I check the error log in Cpanel and no errors were logged?????

You must log in to post replies.You can switch to elgg_hybridauth. I believe there is even a migration script
Can you tell me which elgg version are you using and the plugin version. Also it will be helpful if you can share the log details. It will help me in understanding the problem. Also do let me know your site link so that I can test it.
@Rohit, thank you very much for offering your assistance. I have taken Ismayils advice and switched to the Elgg_Hybridauth.
@Ismayil, thanks a million for that suggestion. The plugin is exactly what I needed for my site it works smoothly and smoothly. Absolutely great!!!!!!!!
