You must log in to post replies.Hi Steven,
this feature is called "photo tagging"...
thx yeas that sound like it :-), to bad that i cannot edit the title
You can edit the title... just click "Group forum" in the left menu and you'll find "Edit" and "Delete" under your forum post title.
I actually think this is possible. If we can pull it off, we would in effect, have a "slightly" comparable photo app to facebook. Obviously it is not facebook caliber, but the friend tagging is one of the most CRUCIIAL reasons why facebooks photos app is so freaking good.
To accomplish this, I would think just to attach metadata to each image under something like "people" . I have no idea how fb lets you select the faces in the picture, but simply listing names of people in the picture in left-to-right order is certainly a start!
The facebook people tagging feature might be working with imagemaps... Not really sure, but it's the only thing I could think of. Searched around a bit and found this here...
FYI ...some free original DHTML & Javascripts to enhance your web site.

I really like this idea, any chance of seeing this and maybe gmaps support for geo-tagging?
I would help, but I don't know much coding.
