Latest User on Index Page

Is there a piece of code I can add to the custom index page to show my latest member's display name ? I'm still running Elgg 1.8 and seem to remember mention of such a code snipet some years ago but cannot find any reference to it. Am using Easy Theme.

You must log in to post replies.Try to use widget manager plugin, by default latest members widget is there and more options..
Thanks kirubakaran, I did try the widget manager some years ago and didn't like it. I just need the user display name, nothing else. Am a minimalist type of guy!
The default query ordering is latest created.
