i've just realised i am not receiving any email notifications for new messages or other issues from the elgg community here. all of my settings are configured so that i do receive emails and i did receive them in the past.
i am wondering if this is because i changed my email server a few weeks ago to support DKIM and other email validation protocols (including TLS). i have seen some emails i have sent out get bounced because the recipient does not support TLS (so i probably need to change an email setting somewhere on my server)... but i do not get notified of inbound messages that are rejected. does anyone in the elgg team get notified of bounced messages that are sent from elgg.org?

ok, so maybe the cause is related to my email server in some way then.

thanks for the link. i do already have DKIM, SPF and DMARC configured though. these things did help my outgoing emails to not get put in junk mail boxes and i recommend them to everyone. however, this current problem is with me receiving emails, not sending them.
