I am looking for a plugin that will monitor group discussions that are inactive, meaning that there are no comments/replies for them.

After a time period passes (eg a week or month) and no comments are made,  the group owner/admin should be notified that there hasn't be any activity for the specific discussion topic(s).

I have looked into the plugins directory but have not found anything related, except for this https://elgg.org/plugins/532479 which has not been updated in 5 years.

Is there something like this available for more recent elgg versions? How hard/easy would it be to develop something like this?
