not able to login for the second time with the admin credentials
Which elgg version are you using and are you running it on localhost or what.....
I am also suffering from login and logout issue...// you may check

Are you getting any specific error message?
Are you using any plugins other than the one bundled with elgg?
Are you sure that you use the correct admin username and password? Can you log in as another user or does the same problem happens then?
