Hi,
I just started using Elgg and have encountered a frustrating issue. Users can add a profile pic and I can add a group logo but they aren't really being saved. Even though the local client (browser) shows them, it appears to be some kind of temporary caching. The logo keeps disappearing and other users never see the uploaded profile pics. Are images saved in the database or somewhere in the directory? I don't see why there'd be issues writing to either but I don't know what to think.
Can anyone help fix this, please?
Thanks!

You must log in to post replies.Images are saved in a directory in your data folder.
Check you data folder permission.
Which directory is it?
Oh, I see. Yes, the data directory was set to something stupid. Apparently, the defaults provided by MojoMarketplace are not good.
I'll ask them to fix that.
