In small viewports, the Aalborg theme menu collapses. We've received reports that the menu toggle (3 stacked bars) does not display at all in Firefox/Android.
The plan is to use a FontAwesome fa-bars icon for this in 2.0, but in 1.12 we would replace it with an image (#9171).
Are we OK making this breaking change in 1.12.6? Having an inaccessible site menu in a significant problem, but I can't tell yet if this affects the default Android browser (22% market share), or just FF on Android (0.01%).

You must log in to post replies. It does not affect the default android browser or chrome, only FF as far as I can tell.
+1
Usage of different browsers might differ on different sites. Also, FF is now also available for iOS (don't know if the same issue occurs there). So, FF (mobile) usage might be higher on some sites and then it would make sense to have the fix as the site is not usable otherwise.
Please test https://github.com/Elgg/Elgg/pull/9171 if you can. I won't merge it until we can get more eyes on it in the affected browsers.
