Admin account after install
After Elgg has installed, and the area where one would usually create their 'admin' account, all I get is a blank page, and also if I try and register.

I did manage a successful install, however, I managed to 'break' it with a mod, or the mod managed to beak it, either way I deleted the elgg directory, database and any relevant stuff, downloaded elgg 1.5 and that happened. Also tried 1.6 but still the same. My first guess would be some sort of missing php extension, but, last I checked, it meets the requirements.
Also should add, I've tried uploading elgg in several ways, FTP and cPanel mainly. And also tried downloading Elgg a few times.

Ah yes, I see. Will try that.
Have a browse thru your entities and users entity tables and see the matching GUID#'s
Then you'll literally 'see" the correlations..
aho, I've logged in, but I'm a normal user. But it's a step right direction. I suspect some mismatch in ID's between the two tables, I'll have to take a gander.

go to your source d/b
and do a join on entities and user entity
on guid# and type = "user" (i think.. i'm not dbl checking this)
I just found out that PHP is installed in CGI mode, not as an Apache Module, could that cause the problems I'm facing with registration?
i am using ebosses web server provider,after i successful installed elgg,i register an admin and admin password,but after i login into it,it jump to an error page,i can keep register different user account,and receieve email from the server to my hotmail,i could activate it as well,but after login any user of it,IT JUMP TO ERROR PAGE
