Probably the wrong spot for this, sorry if so...I'd like to see more flexible or easily configurable error handling. Check out the number of "white screen of death" posts on the groups to see what I mean. Something settable in a config file so you don't have to log on would be best. Call it debug mode so that most folks don't run with it on if you want. I know I went through all sorts of hoops to figure out what was breaking what and just being able to easily see a php error in my browser would have saved me so much time. I know why you don't want the errors showing during production. But in a hosted environment, accessing logs can be a multi-step process which makes development difficult.
