For our purpose we need some more functionality than the Elgg Event Calender brings with by default: https://elgg.org/plugins/2215357
We need the possibility to register REGULAR events. So one should be able to choose in the register-form of the event calender between "regular" and "one-time" events. The "one-time" should be handled as the plugin already does. But the "regular" ones should be shown in the calender each week or each month (these two possibilities are enough, maybe more later, like each 2nd week or something like that).
A funding is available for this project. What are the possibilities to enhance the event calender like this? How much would the cost?

Depending on your requirements these plugins may help - they're more of a google-calendar like interface but the underlying api can be used for creating any type of event management system. It has recurring events by default.
The Event Calendar plugin already has the option to add "regular" (aka repeating) events. It's a plugin setting you would need to enable and then it's possible to define the day / time plus interval (e.g. every week / every two weeks etc.) when adding an event.
Thank you, I activated that but that did not work. I added an weekly event and now there is a sentence in the details "and every following week", but in the list of events, it is shown only once and not every week, as it should. Is that a bug or is there an option to activate listing of regular events in the list of all events?
