Edit Profile: Image Uploading Profile Icon Problem
So I have installed elgg and created a profile. I've noticed I have a little problem. When I try to edit profile icon, and upload an image, it says "Your profile icon was uploaded successfully but nothing ever shows up.
Any idea on why this may be?

You must log in to post replies.Have you checked to make sure the PHP GD extension is enabled on your server? That is an Elgg requirement.

Hi - on the off chance you have not solved the problem, and for others searching for a solution, check the web server logs. If you have something like
you need to check the permissions on the elgg directory files. Should not be group writable.
I was tearing my hair out over this.
